Pink And Teal Candlelight

Hello all you fabulous paper artists in blogland!

Desire God's Heart
Arm yourselves with the same thought and purpose
[patiently to suffer rather than fail to please
God]. For whoever has suffered in the flesh [having
the mind of Christ] is done with [intentional] sin
[has stopped pleasing himself and the world, and
pleases God], so that he can no longer spend the rest
of his natural life living by [his] human appetites
and desires, but [he lives] for what God wills.
                                                                        1 PETER 4:1-2

Happy Saturday friends! Have a card I created for Heartfelt Creations. Wanted to use some colors on this card other than your transitional Christmas colors.Thought the teals and pinks came together very well.

 Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMark Embossing Ink, Stampin Up - Taken With Teal, Pebbles Pearlescent Chalks, Copics - E21, 23, 25, BG11, 53, 57, RV0000, 02, 10, 23, Y13
Accessories: Enamel EP Aged Pink Embossing Powder, Darice Glitter, Rhinestones, Ribbon, Pop Dots.

Instructions: Card base 6" x 6". Cut these panels as followed, 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" - 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" - (stamp Festive Ornaments image on this panel) 5" X 4 3/4", cut 4 3/4" x 4 1/2" - 5 3/4" x 2 1/2" - 5 1/2" x 2 1/4" and stamp Festive Christmas on the last panel with embossing ink and heat set. Add glitter to panels as shown, adhere all panels together, wrap ribbon in center and adhere to card base. Die cut timeless frame, adhere glitter, apply pop dots and adhere to card. Stamp image, color, cut 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" apply pop dots and center in frame. Stamp the same image and color just the poinsettia, fussy cut, apply pop dots and place over the existing flower. Create a bow and place it next to image. Add a few rhinestones on ribbon to jazz it up.

  1. Hi Linda, Wanted to let you know that I think this card is absolutely lovely. I really love the non-traditional colors you used. The layering really adds dimension and I really love that frame die cut you used and glittered it. Fabulous Card.
