Poinsettia Frame

Hello all you fabulous paper artists in blogland!

Stay Out of Strife
He who is of a greedy spirit stirs up strife,
but he who puts his trust in the Lord
shall be enriched and blessed.
                              PROVERBS 28:25

Well it's TGIF once again and I'm looking forward to this weekend. My step grandson (Justice) to be has his first football game of the season this Sunday and I'm looking forward to watching him play and the weather is going to be perfect. I sure hope they win their first game!

Have something a little different this time. Wanted to create something other than a card and something that would last year after year. Wouldn't this make a great gift for Christmas?
Yes you guessed it, this was created for Heartfelt Creations!

Paper: Gold, Red and Green Glitter Papers, Fireworks Red Holographic Paper and White Cardstock
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, Red and Green Color Pencils, Copics
Accessories: Spellbinders - Holly Accents, Holly Motifs, 2010 Heirloom Ornaments, Resplendent Rectangles, X acto Knife, Pop Dots, Beacon Adhesives.

Instructions:12" x 10" picture frame. First I started with an 8 1/2" x 11" white piece of cardstock and cut an opening out of the center to create a framed mat. Stamped poinsettia images on all four sides, colored and placed over existing mat. I did not want to stamp on the existing mat in case of an error. For the image in center frame, I cut a sheet of pattern paper a little larger and the opening and glued onto an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of white cardstock. Cut largest ornament from glitter paper. Next die cut the next size ornament from red holographic paper and adhere together. Die cut oval (#1 small) from red glitter paper, die cut another oval (#2 large) from a card panel and die cut the center out of the card panel using the #4 labels 20 mega die and set the center piece aside. Adhere the outer oval panel to the large oval, apply pop dots and adhere to ornament. With the #4 mega die, trace around the outer edge and fussy cut and adhere the two mega labels together. Apply pop dots and center on ornament. Die cut holly and place as shown. On the corners I placed scraps of gold glitter paper in the corners of the Resplendent rectangles die, die cut them, trimmed for a nice clean look and placed one in each corner. I added some glitter paper around the frame for a little more glitz.

Thank you very much for your lovely comments on my post, they really mean a lot!
