There's Only One You

It's Heartfelt Creations Wednesday and I have another card using the Burst of Splendor Collection. This is an amazing collection, yes I know every collection is amazing. Instructions:
Base card - cut pale green cardstock 12" x 6" and score at 3" and at 9". Add a layer of natural white and then light brown cardstock to both front panels and adhere. Next, layer the two panels with pattern paper from Burst of Splendor Paper Collection and adhere. Cut out two Ornate Gateway toppers and brush with 3D Stamp Paint, and adhere to left front panel. With the tag die from Antique Frame and Accents cut one and paint with the 3D Stamp paint, adhere to right side. Next cut out from natural white a rectangle 2" x 1 3/8", ink up and stamp sentiment from Classic Message stamp set, adhere to tag. With the Tattered Blossoms stamp set, using the smallest stamp, ink up and stamp 15 times, the next size up 5 times and die cut with coordinating Tattered Blossoms Die. After all of the pedals are cut out, on just the small flower petals distress with pale plum on the ends of petals. Use the blossoms tools to shape each flower then build and adhere your flowers together. With copic Y21 color rhinestones and a small Sparklet and place in centers of flowers. Place and adhere flowers in between the Ornate die cuts and one on tag. From the Bold Leaf stamp set, ink up the smallest and stamp two of them and cut using the coordinating Bold Leaf die. Separate leaves, shape and adhere to flowers. The butterfly came from the die set Jewel Flowers and Flourishes. Cut out 3 times using the scrap papers from this card. Adhere together and placed under tag.
Inside: Layer with natural white first then light brown and last the pattern paper from Burst of Splendor Paper Collection. Stamped verse from Floral Fence PreCut Set. Now place pearls on the Ornate gate topper, tag and butterfly. Next use Stickles in various places on topper, flowers, leaves, butterfly and pattern paper inside and out.

  2. Another absolutely gorgeous creation. I love the way you used the dies and those flowers are so lifelike. A gatefold card always has a sense of drama to it...and this one is as pretty inside as it is outside. Beautiful work, Linda!
