Hello hello once again! I hope you are ok and safe wherever you might be!!!

As you read through the ingredients of this card you may not notice that I am using some really old but still good stuff. In fact, the red gingham paper I used on this card is from when I sold Close To My Heart back in the early nineties and like any other paper/cardstock it never goes out. The colors may get tweaked somewhat, but everything comes back at some point in life.

Hello everyone! Hope everybody is doing well and staying healthy! Staying at home hasn't affected me as of yet.  I am finding that being quarantined has given me time to go through my stash of stamps, dies, and color mediums that hadn't been used in a very long time. You know, the things that are out of sight out of mind! In fact, the card I posted today I used Radiant Pearls paints on the flowers and leaves. These paints hardly ever get used because they're stuck in a cubby hole of my craft room. Couldn't even tell you how old these paints are.  I've had them for years. Those of you that don't know what they are, they're a liquid paint that's water-based but acts like an oil.  I have yet had one of these jars of paint dry up. I wish they still made them.  They blend beautifully and the colors are bold but yet have such a softness to them as you can see in these flowers and leaves. (the light marks in the flowers are due to the glue)

Created another card using an Art Impressions stamp set.  Glad I'm back to making cards again. I love to challenge myself on how my cards should look. I hope everyone is staying healthy and being creative while quarantined! I've been keeping myself busy with all kinds of crafts. Anything from beading, making facemask, sewing handbags and yes I am still making cards. I haven't posted any of them in a little over three years though. It's like exercising, once you quit it's hard to get back into the rhythm. Although I have missed blogging the challenges and most of all, I've missed all of you. I love sharing my ideas and inspirations. There's something about sharing that makes a person feel good. So here it goes my first card in three years.
