Framed Daffodils

Hello all of you wonderful paper enthusiasts!

Be Proactive
Have mercy and be gracious to me; grant
strength (might and inflexibility to
temptation) to Your servant.
                             PSALM 86:16

Hello everyone! I have a little something different to share with you today. I made a couple of these framed flowers for Christmas gifts using the Dancing with Daffodils Digital stamp set from Power Poppy. After giving them a closer look it had given me an idea. When we moved into our new home we did't want to decorate it in the same way. Our previous home was decorated in a western theme and had been for many years. When we moved here we decided to have a garage sale and sell what we could of the western stuff. The decorating of the new home is still a work in progress. OK, getting back to the framed flowers. The idea is to make three frames with each one having a different flower or flowers in it for one of our walls in the master bathroom. One down and two to go. LOL

Frame size 10" x 12"

Hello all of you wonderful paper enthusiasts!

Don't Chase Blessings
Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man
whom You choose and cause to come near, that he may
dwell in Your courts! We shall be satisfied with
goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.
                                                                     PSALM 65:4

Hello everyone, I'm back from a much needed break. I was very busy with making many many things over the holidays that after it was all over I felt I needed to sit back and relax for a bit. I get myself involved in more than just a couple of things at a time, the bottom line, I don't know when enough is enough. That's just the way God made me. I enjoy everything He has in store for me, just get a little worn down every now and then and need a recharge. We have all been there.

This card I created to share with you today is a birthday card. She is from Paper Shelter Rebel - Digital Stamp. I had every intention to color her jacket black but ended up with brown. How does this happen you might ask! Had my head in the sand. LOL

Merry Christmas To All

Hello all of you wonderful paper enthusiasts!

It's the Lord's Battle
The Angel of the Lord encamps around those
who fear Him [who revere and worship Him
with awe] and each of them He delivers.
                                                               PSALM 34:7

OMG! Can you believe I all most forgot to post my card today for PaperTemptress and I knew today was my day to post. I worked on this card for two days, Friday and all day Saturday so first thing this morning I could get it posted. Well Sunday morning came and Sunday morning went, as they say better late than never at all!!!
Let me tell you a little about this card. Ever since I received the Stampin Up holiday mini I have and still am admiring everything in it. I know you’re still drooling too! Right! LOL Any how I ordered this Sleigh Ride die set and wanted to put it in a Christmas bough like so many have been doing except I used a Spellbinders die, more room for detail. The sky was air brushed with copics, the snow was created using a white sharpie pen. Something else to think about, in this card you can see how the Retro Silver Lustre Text paper and the Aquamarine - Metallic/Mica absolutely shimmer and shines. These papers are wonderful for adding more bling to your creations.

Card base 5" x 7"
